White Pâpier-Maché & Plaster Pendant Lamps

Designer and artist, Rebecca Cocks’ striking range of white plaster pendant lamps, which work beautifully over a table, in a hall or as a centre piece in a room. Each lamp is unique, by virtue of their handmade process, made up of individually air dried layers of pâpier-maché and internally finished with a Venetian plaster and gesso. The result is a beautifully pure form, with a textural exterior and smooth interior, casting a directional light. Rebecca Cock’s career internationally in theatre and film led her to becoming a Visual Creative Director, working with leading brands, including 18 years as a stylist and window designer for Hermès. Rebecca’s extensive work has been published in books and periodicals. The disciplines to create worlds within her career where imagination and reality meet, has enabled her to use the processes to design and make these utilitarian pieces. Reviving papier-mâché to form the everyday object with function and purpose. Each pendant lamp is fitted with an integrated bayonet bulb fitting, (shown in image below). The lamps can be purchased on their own so you can supply your own fittings, or with a fabric cord (1m); an antiqued brass square link chain (1m) and a Georgian antiqued brass ceiling rose with hook (8cm). Weight: 1kg Installation Advice The pendant lamps are for indoor use only. Care Using a lint free damp cloth, wipe over the surface. Using the brush attachment on a vacuum cleaner, gently run over the surface. Please note, pendant lights normally take 4 weeks from order, although we will endeavour to have them for you sooner if possible.
