Vintage Signed TB-130 Taxco Mexico Sterling Silver Large Modernist Swirl Brooch

Vintage Signed TB-130 Taxco Mexico Sterling Silver Large Modernist Swirl Brooch Circa 1980s. Made in Mexico. Underside of brooch is stamped "MEXICO TB-130 925". Circa 1979, the eagle system was put to rest and replaced by a new letter/number mark to indicate the silversmith and guarantee sterling standard. The “T” represents Taxco, and the “B” represents the first initial of the silversmith. The number indicates that the maker is the 130th smith, with a name beginning with B, register a mark in their city's assay office. Brooch measures approximately 2.4 inches long by 1.9 inches wide. Weighs approximately 20.78 grams. In good condition with no noticeable flaws. Silver may have some patina as expected with age & wear, but can be polished if you desire. Please see all photos.
