Cymba

Cymba, meaning “boat” in Latin, is inspired by reflections on water and the way light dances across its surface. The battuto carving breaks the glass surface, allowing light to shimmer and shift as the viewer moves. Colour appears to float within the form, creating a sense of depth and quiet movement, like looking into rippling water. Freeblown and hotsculpted glass, cut and polished with battuto carving H10 x W60 x D10cm
