Traditional Japanese hanhaba obi - red and white hakata ori
Hanhaba obi is a more casual obi, originally half the width of a fukuro obi. Often worn with a casual summer yukata. Hakata ori refers to a traditional weaving technique, originating in Hakata city (now part of Fukuoka). It is decorated with easily recognizable geometric pattern. This one is made of textured cotton, with silk thread decoration in white and red. The other side is plain red. Original colors might slightly vary from these displayed on screen.
