A faithful recreation of one of Gibson’s most distinctive designs, this 2015 non-reverse firebird is decidedly lighter than its standard counterpart. This is due to the traditional set neck and relatively thin, flat mahogany body, making this a comfortable, ergonomically sound instrument. Finished in an eye catching Ferrari Red nitro lacquer, this guitar presents in remarkably good condition with no modifications and minimal signs of use. Not to be mistaken with traditional Gibson mini humbuckers, the Firebird mini hum bucker has 6 alnico poles and a drastically different internal design. This makes them behave a lot more like a ‘fat single coil’ with more articulate highs, tight bass and percussive nature, making them a favourite amongst players such as Neil Young, Joe Bonamassa and Johnny Winter. This guitar comes in its original brown and gold hard shell with pink lining.
