Entrance　 ｜¥500 (tax incl.) / WORKSHOP + TICKET ¥1,200 ※小学生以下無料 ※物販エリアはフリー入場 Free for elementary school children and younger / Free entry to the shop area CONCEPT SELFY : A CONTEMPORARY PORTRAIT 自撮りは、現代の肖像画。 山口真人は2020年から、SNS時代における「自撮り画像」を現代の肖像画として位置付けるコアコンセプト《SELFY》に取り組んできました。描かれてきたのは、実在の誰かの顔ではなく、匿名性の高いキャラクターや加工されたビジュアル。他者の視線と承認を前提に組み立てられる「像」を、絵画として固定する仕事です。 本展は、シリーズ始動5年の節目に開催される過去最大規模のアーカイブ展です。国内外のコレクターの協力により、通常は鑑賞が難しい代表作が渋谷に集結。さらに本展のために描き下ろされた、池田エライザ氏をモデルとする新作を世界初公開します。 Since 2020, Masato Yamaguchi has explored "SELFY" — a concept that reframes the selfie as the portrait of our time. Marking the series' fifth year, this is his largest archive exhibition to date: major works gathered from collectors worldwide, together with a brand-new portrait of actress/model Elaiza Ikeda, unveiled here for the first time. EXHIBITION 4 ROOMS STENCIL / STUDIO / PAINTING / SELFY ME の四つの展示室を展開 Four rooms — STENCIL / STUDIO / PAINTING / SELFY ME 01. STENCIL 型を切り抜き、インクを乗せて図像を写し取るステンシル。単色グラフィックの強さとストリートからの影響が、山口の絵画の土台です。入口では使用済みステンシルの群れが来場者を迎えます。 Cut the image, press the ink — Yamaguchi builds his paintings on stencils, drawn to hard-edged graphics and street culture. At the entrance, a mass of used stencils welcomes you in. 02. STUDIO 山口が普段制作するスタジオを会場内に再現。実際に使っている水道設備を運び込み、床には制作で使われたステンシルや道具が並びます。絵にたどり着く前に「絵が生まれる場所」を通る構成です。 A recreation of Yamaguchi's working studio — real, down to its own sink and the tools on the floor. Before the paintings, you walk through the place where they are born. 03. PAINTING 約5〜6年の《SELFY》から集めた絵画が並ぶ集大成の展示室。最大の新作は291×218cm、壁そのものを1つの絵として作る試みです。ステッカー状の図像もすべてステンシルで描かれたペイント。近くで探してみてください。 Five to six years of SELFY paintings, capped by a new 291 × 218 cm work — a wall built as a single painting, its sticker-like images all hand-painted through stencils. Step in close. 04. SELFY ME 山口真人の初期作品から最新作までを展示。ミラールームでは、作品と一緒に自撮りが撮れます。 From Yamaguchi's early works to his latest — plus a mirror room where you can take a selfie with the art. EXPERIENCE STENCIL WORKSHOP 山口が実際に使ったステンシルで、世界に一つのアイテムを。 山口自身が制作したステンシルを使い、スプレーで絵柄を入れられるワークショップを会場内で毎日開催しています。 お好きなアイテムの持ち込みはWORKSHOP + TICKET ¥1,200（¥300 OFF）。手ぶらなら、Tシャツ付きのONLINE SPECIAL SET（¥4,800 ／ KIDS ¥3,800、各 ¥1,500 OFF）で。 ※展覧会会場内ワークショップエリアにて営業時間内 開催（受付は閉場30分前まで） ※スプレーを使用します／入場チケットの半券ご提示で再入場可能 Stencil-paint with sheets cut by the artist himself — bring your own item (WORKSHOP + TICKET ¥1,200, ¥300 off) or come empty-handed with a T-shirt included (ONLINE SPECIAL SET ¥4,800 / kids ¥3,800).
