Mid-Century very rare overpainted nightstands / matching chair by Kuperus / model called 'Horatio', pictured in the 1964 'Goed Wonen' magazine, catalogue, pg 60 / The fine teak material makes a perfect compliment to the thin black metal frames / which create a floating, light appearance / The clean, angular shapes are very symbolic for post-war European design / reflecting the new era of Danish style inspired furniture.
