Created for this sacred time of reflection, remembrance, and connection, this richly botanical blend combines dried fruits, fragrant herbs, flowers, berries, and warming spices traditionally associated with autumn, protection, intuition, and honoring those who came before us. Samhain marks the transition into the darker half of the year and is traditionally a time to honor ancestors, reflect on the past, embrace the mystical, and prepare for the season ahead. This simmer pot can be incorporated into Samhain rituals, ancestor work, seasonal celebrations, divination practices, or simply enjoyed while creating a warm and atmospheric space during the Halloween and Samhain season. Dried apple, orange, and pomegranate bring rich fruit notes to the blend, complemented by cinnamon, cloves, and star anise for a warm autumn fragrance. Mugwort, juniper berries, rosemary, lavender, rose petals, and bay leaves add layers of aromatic herbs and botanicals chosen to complement the intention of the season. To use, add the desired amount of the blend to a pot with approximately 3–4 cups of water. Bring to a gentle simmer over low heat. As the blend simmers, use the time for reflection, remembrance, setting intentions, or honoring your ancestors and loved ones who have passed. Add additional water as needed to prevent the pot from drying out.
