It’s the famous veg-tanned Wickett and Craig. It’s a smooth, firm texture and glazed to show a beautiful shine. This leather will scratch and change over time…the patina it develops is a thing a beauty. This is the milled or pebbled version, which means the leather has been embossed and tumbled to soften the temper and add character. If you prefer a different color elastic, please add a note to your order. Elastic colors available: Brown, White, Black. Instead of an elastic belly band as a closure, a snap closure is available as an add on purchase. Add Strings to turn it into a traveler's notebook. If this is your preference, please let me know if you prefer a small adjustment in width to accommodate larger inserts. Small addition included to the width with this leather related to it's firm nature. This ensures a good fit with a stiffer spine. If you prefer a more custom size, please choose the size closest and send me a message!
