Fred Go uses Apple's Find My or Android’s Find Hub network to locate your dog. Once it's paired to your phone, it works in two ways. When your dog is within Bluetooth range (around 15 metres), Fred Go shows as "With you" or "Nearby", and you can tap Play sound to make it beep and pinpoint it. When they wander further off, any other phone in the network that passes nearby quietly updates Fred Go's last known location, so you always have a spot to start looking. It's a finder rather than a live GPS unit, so it works best in areas with people, and phones, around. How to use Open Apple Find My (iPhone) or download Android Find Hub. On most phones it's already there. Open the app and add a new device, then follow the prompts to pair Fred Go. Clip Fred Go onto your dog's collar using the included metal loop, or slot it into an eDog collar accessory. Open the app any time to see your dog's location, or their last known spot if they're out of range. When you're close, tap Play sound to make Fred Go beep and pinpoint it. When the battery runs low, twist Fred Go open and drop in a fresh CR2032 coin cell.
