Isobutyl quinoline - Symrise

Isobutyl quinoline is a classic note in the perfumer's palette - this was the primary note used to recreate the smell of leather through the majority of the 20th century. Can be difficult to use due to it's strength (although this can be fixed by dosing with a light hand). Works well with Oakmoss, Vetiver and Patchouli to create a traditional masculine base note.
