cFluor^® BYG781 Anti-Human CD5 (L17F12)

The mouse monoclonal antibody clone L17F12 binds to human CD5, a 67 kDa single chain type I glycoprotein in the scavenger receptor family. CD5, also known as Leu-1, Ly-1, or T1, is expressed on thymocytes, T cells, and subsets of B cells. CD5 binds to its ligand on B cells, CD72 (LYB-2), to play a role in T-B cell interaction and to modulate the intensity of antigen receptor signal transduction. For flow cytometric staining, the suggested use of this reagent is 5 μL per 1 million cells in a staining volume of 100 μL. If whole blood is analyzed, then use 5 μL per 100 μL. It is recommended that users titrate the antibody to obtain the optimal result for their specific application. Please briefly centrifuge the reagent vial before use.
