Take Part in a Creative Experience - Paris During this workshop, you’ll discover the technical and cultural foundations of Boro before applying one of three proposed techniques to your own Miki or other Béton Ciré hat. Between textile repair and intuitive creation, Béton Ciré and Tom invite you to explore Japanese "Boro" through a slow, free, and sensitive approach to clothing. Through visible stitching, layered fabrics, and hand-sewn repairs, you’ll learn how to repair, reinforce, and transform a piece while giving it a new story. Throughout the workshop, we’ll guide you through this craft using different stitching and assembly techniques. Each participant will be able to freely create their own textile composition using a curated selection of fabrics in blue, black, and cream tones, thoughtfully chosen to naturally connect with the Béton Ciré universe. Every finished piece will be unique, shaped by the selected fabrics, visible stitching, and the gestures of each participant.
