Then, to make your colors pop on black, you can first put a under-coat of the design with light gray (you don't have to, but it just helps your colors look vibrant (and quicker) than just painting right on the black. ....And 3rd, if you want to go an extra step to really make it pop, shade (painting a darker version of your color on the edges, to make it look like light is coming through) 😉 Try out these steps and you'll be amazed when you pull that stencil up!
