SOWING: Early Spring, or Late Summer – Autumn Sow Direct, or Transplant Cabbage seeds are best sown in early spring, or late summer to autumn. Seeds can be sown in trays for transplanting, or directly in place approx. 50 – 60 cm apart when soil temperatures are between 10°c – 25°c. 10°c - 25°c 7 - 12 days Transplant seedlings, or thin directly sown seeds to a final spacing of approx. 50cm apart once plants have some true leaves. 30cm - 50cm 70 - 100 days Hardy TIPS: You can harvest your cabbages as soon as they feel firm and reach a good size. If sowing close to winter, transplanting can work well for allowing plants to get underway without experiencing significant losses from bug attacks. Always ensure to keep an eye out for hungry slugs, snails and caterpillars. APPROX SEEDS PER PACKET: HOME GARDEN 200 seeds
