28"x75" Antique Vintage Old Reclaimed Salvaged Victorian SOLID Wood Wooden Interior Door 4 Panels

Read the "Shipping" section below for more information. Rare, antique door salvaged from an 1890's home in Southeastern PA (see last photo). The door is made of solid pine or Douglas Fir and is completely painted white on the front and tan on the back. It has a rare and unusual, 4 panel design. The top 3 panels are shorter than the bottom panel. The panels are recessed on the front and flush with the surrounding rails and stiles on the back-- a feature of doors made in the US during the 1700 and 1800's. Hardware: The door has no hardware but we have some in our online store and tons more in our physical store. Contact us if you would like to outfit the door with old hardware. * If you would like any of the hardware holes plugged with solid wood, please email us for a quote. Uneven Size: The width and height of the door were unevenly cut by 1/4"-3/8". This was most likely done to compensate for a sagging foundation or warped floor. We could cut the door to an even 28 1/4"x75 1/8", cut it smaller, or make it bigger--message us if you are interested. Swing: The hinge mortises span the thickness of the door which allows you the opportunity to install your hinges on either side of the door and define the way that it swings. Condition: The door is strong, sturdy, and in great condition. There is a thin piece that broke off the lower corner (see 2nd to last photo). Other than that, there are no breaks, cracks, gouges, rot, warp, etc. Expect nicks, scrapes, and scratches--blemishes that will sand out prior to refinishing or repainting.
