Super Rare Strengite + Kidwellite, Cacxenite, etc, Coon Creek Mine, Polk Co, Arkansas, A+++ Super Rare and Absolutely Incredible Purple Strengite + Iron Phosphates Combo on a Novaculite Matrix. The specimen features phenomenal and highly aesthetic Purple Strengite w/ excellent crystallization. It is rich w/ Strengite. Some of the strengite sits on a Kidwellite, and some on a small vug of Cacoxenite. There are various species of other iron phosphates (Beraunite, minor Cacoxenite etc) scattered throughout the specimen on all sides. Most of the strengite specimens that have come from this mine show a rounded botryoidal form. But these are spectacular and sculptural, like stars. There are botryoidal forms as well on this specimen, but the main vug shows this "star" form. It was unearthed in the 1970s by the legendary Henry Delinde, and is from his personal collection.
