Fritillaria ‚Early Fantasy‘ (Fritillary)

This fritillary has a color you simply never forget. The large bell-shaped blooms hang elegantly from sturdy stems, each one a small work of art: warm glowing apricot on the outside, traced on the inside with delicate red veining that lends it something precious, almost painted. Several flowers open simultaneously around the stem – creating that characteristic, majestic crown that gave the plant its name. Already in April it stretches to an impressive 65 cm tall, making a truly special statement in the border. Like all Persian frittilaries, it loves warm, dry summers and well-drained soil. After flowering, it’s best to lift the bulbs and store them in a cool place – rewarding you with years of faithful blooming.
