The L141 Ghost Pleco, scientifically known as Hemiancistrus snethlageae, is a hardy and visually striking Loricariid from Brazil. It features a dark charcoal to black base color with lighter, “ghost-like” markings that can appear as faint stripes or mottling, giving it a subtle but attractive look. This species typically reaches around 6–8 inches, making it a medium-sized pleco compared to many larger tank-busters. It does well in warm, well-oxygenated water with moderate to strong flow, and appreciates plenty of caves and driftwood for hiding.
