Tickets: Fairy Garden Terrarium Workshop at Square 1 Coffee

Join us on Monday, June 8th from 7-9PM at Square 1 Coffee: Glenora to build your own fairy garden terrarium. In this workshop, you will make a terrarium that is a unique, self-sustaining ecosystem. Once your terrarium layers are in place, add fairy garden miniatures to bring the magic to life! Invite your friends or family to enjoy some quality time together (plus a drink or sweet treat from the cafe). There is limited seating available, so get your tickets while you can! Tickets are $65/person and include: Medium glass jar with lid Live plants, substrates and tools Basic decorations: pebbles, rocks, gemstones, etc. Your choice of handmade fairy garden miniatures Bag and care sheet to take home with you Location: The workshop is at Square 1 Coffee: Glenora in Edmonton (14055 West Block Dr NW #140, Edmonton, AB T5N 1L8). The cafe will be open during the workshop, so you can order refreshments or a sweet treat. Age requirements: Although it is fairy garden themed (and kids love fairies), this particular workshop is intended for adults. The structure and pacing of the workshop is meant for adults and the design requires a lot of attention to detail and fine motor skills. While the workshop is very beginner friendly, I would only recommend it for participants ages 15+. Please note: Tickets are required to enter the workshop area. If you're bringing friends or family, you must each have your own ticket. Choose your handmade fairy garden miniatures: Each ticket includes one choice of garden miniatures. I make them by hand from polymer clay, a material that does well in the high humidity environment of terrariums. You can choose either Option 1 or Option 2 for each ticket you purchase. Option 1) Gnome + 2 Mushrooms You will receive one rainbow gnome and two mushrooms (one red + one random colour). This option gives you multiple pieces of decor that you can arrange around your terrarium for a full fairy garden look. Each piece is handmade from polymer clay. The gnome and mushrooms are about 1.5" tall. Option 2) A Fairy Door. For Option 2, you get to choose one of the fairy doors below. Each fairy door is handmade from polymer clay with many unique, magical details. They are approximately 3" x 3" and make a great centrepiece for your terrarium. Add-ons: You can opt to add extra fairy garden miniatures to your ticket(s) for an additional price.
