The Baori Corkscrew carries that idea to the table. Its stepped, cast-brass body echoes the geometry of a stepwell's walls, framing a recessed centre of deep black enamel like a pool of shadow at the bottom of the descent. The black inlay is meenakari—the centuries-old Rajasthani art of enamelling metal by hand, the same craft that colours the region's finest jewellery and objects. Each piece is cast in brass, then finished by a meenakari artisan. It sits with real weight in the palm; the blackened helix turns cleanly into the cork, and the pull is the ascent.
