International gallery level sculptural Piece 2021

2021 June firing. as with piece 2021 no. 11 this is an outstanding piece from the spring firing. The largest piece in my collection so far, a true collectors piece . My secret formular for my clay body, and added naturally found impurities, have given this piece an abundance of life. Super rich in colour and texture A large jar form with deep cutting spirals around the waist. I glazed this piece in a natural ancient chun glaze, allowing it to gently overflow the rim giving a superb contrast of ocean and terra . hand signed in fired oxide, as with all my individual work.
