Genkai Wakame, Dried Seaweed, 56 g
Wakame is a dried seaweed (brown algae) used in soups or as a sushi starter. You only need to soak the dried seaweed in cold water for 5 minutes and it's ready to use. Seaweed contains almost no fat, no cholesterol, but many minerals and fiber. For soup: soak approx. 3g, squeeze, cut into small pieces, add to hot soup, and it's ready. 3g is enough for approx. 5 servings. As a salad: soak and squeeze 3g of wakame. Cut 1 cucumber & 1 carrot into fine strips, add soaked glass noodles. Dressing made from 1 tbsp sugar, 4 tbsp rice vinegar, 3 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tbsp sesame oil.
