Everything about this wine is is really very good." The wine is made from a blend of the two classic varieties, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The soil at WW is ideal for sparkling wine. Vines are planted on free-draining loam over flint and chalk on gentle southeast slopes. Made by Emma Rice and Jacob Leadley, winemakers at Hattingley Valley, near Winchester.
