Clairin Casimir is a highly artisanal, unaged Haitian white rhum distilled from pure, organically grown sugarcane juice (the Hawaii variety). Handcrafted by master distiller Faubert Casimir in the remote village of Baradères, it features wild fermentation with local herbs (anise, ginger, lemongrass) and pot-still distillation, resulting in a bold, savory, and complex profile. Nose: Bright and grassy, offering vibrant tropical aromas of lime leaf, lemongrass, lychee, and almonds mixed with herbal or slightly medicinal notes. Palate: Intense, earthy, and savory. Features a complex combination of green olive, roasted banana, mint, coriander, and a subtle peat-like minerality. Finish: Long and oily with lingering notes of spicy ginger, toasted nuts, and a faint, distinct touch of smoke.
