AC Infinity CO2 & Light Sensor
The AC Infinity CO2 + Light Sensor is a dual-parameter environmental sensor designed exclusively for use with the Controller AI+, expanding its monitoring and automation capabilities to include carbon dioxide levels and ambient light intensity. By adding CO2 awareness to the Controller AI+ ecosystem, it enables the controller to automate fresh air exchange (FAE) with precision, running the exhaust fan only when CO2 rises above or falls below a set threshold, rather than on a fixed timer, making the system significantly more responsive and energy efficient. The integrated light sensor measures ambient light intensity from 1 to 65,535 lux, providing the Controller AI+ with real-time awareness of the plant's light cycle. This enables true day/night scheduling where devices are programmed to behave differently during lit and dark periods without relying on a separate timer, and the light reading confirms whether a connected grow light is actually on or off rather than assuming it based on a schedule. CO2 and light data are tracked and logged alongside temperature, humidity, and VPD data within the AC Infinity app for comprehensive environmental analysis across the full growing cycle. The sensor body measures 3.6 × 7.2 × 1.4 cm and connects to the Controller AI+ via a 365.8 cm (12 ft) corded connection, placing the sensor precisely at canopy height or the primary monitoring zone. Note that the Controller AI+ supports a maximum of two sensors across its two sensor ports simultaneously, the current UIS 1-4 splitter is not compatible with sensor ports. This sensor is not compatible with the Controller 69 Pro or any other UIS controller; it is designed exclusively for the Controller AI+. For a grower supplementing CO2 in a sealed room, the sensor ensures the exhaust fan remains off during enrichment cycles and activates automatically when CO2 reaches the upper threshold, protecting plants and maximising CO2 use efficiency.
