AMS Signature Series Auger Extension Handles

AMS cross handles connect to AMS extensions, which then connect to AMS soil augers and other sampling tools. AMS rubber-coated cross handles are 46 cm long and made of chromoly steel, coated with textured rubber for improved grip. The 46 cm rubber-coated handles are available with 2 cm threaded, 16 mm threaded, Signature Series, quick connect, and hex quick pin connections. The 56 cm powder-coated rubber-grip cross handles are only available with a 19 mm threaded connection and are designed exclusively for use with 15 cm and 18 cm AMS soil augers. Ratchet cross handles with a 46 cm rubber grip are available in 19 mm threaded, 16 mm threaded, Signature Series, quick connect, and hex quick pin connections. They are made of durable carbon steel and feature an open gear mechanism that allows easy cleaning of the gear and sprocket. Hex quick pin and quick connect ratchet cross handles allow reverse ratcheting. The AMS hammer head cross handle allows you to drive your soil sampling equipment into the ground using an impact-absorbing hammer surface. AMS slide hammers are also used to drive AMS soil probes and core samplers into soils and sediments. Make sure that all AMS samplers you intend to use together share a common connection type.
