Designed with solid rubberwood frames, each piece is easy to hold and encourages hands-on investigation as children experiment with visual effects and changing perspectives. Children can layer the translucent colour panels to explore colour mixing, use the magnifier to examine objects in detail, and investigate reflections using the different mirrors. The convex and concave surfaces create distorted images, supporting curiosity and discussion, while the plane mirror provides clear reflections for comparison. Suitable for use on a light box or in open-ended discovery play, the set encourages experimentation, observation and collaborative learning.
