Peony Pink is inspired by the color that emerges when the peony petals become fully open and feathery, and, at the tips, a soft hint of white peeks through the bold hue. Sitting between our moody Crushed Berry, which has more red, and the electric intensity of Studio 54, which is more saturated, Peony Pink feels both soft and vibrantly alive. Created in a dye bath of Rubia tinctorum (Dyer’s Madder)—one of the oldest and most celebrated natural dyestuffs—the silk fabric is manipulated in the dye bath to create a dappled effect that layers tones and adds depth to this unique ribbon.
