A whole year of letters, starting with Christmas morning Twelve letters from twelve Australian elves, each one addressed to your child by name. On Christmas Day, they open a card from an elf telling them a secret – the elves are about to start writing to them. Then, from January, a new letter arrives every single month of the year. Each elf looks after a different Australian insect, and over twelve months they’ll meet creatures from every season – from the cicadas singing in summer to the bogong moths that fly to the mountains each spring. How it works Before Christmas: we post you a Christmas card from an elf, addressed to your child. 15 January: the first letter is posted, just as the Christmas excitement starts to fade. Every month after that: a new elf and a new insect, all year long. It’s our best value too – $130.90 works out to about $10.90 a letter.
