Indian composer and session musician Charanjit Singh combined traditional Hindustani ragas with drum machines, basslines, and synthesizers to create a sound that would later draw comparisons to acid house and early electronic dance music. What began as an obscure experiment has since become a cult classic, celebrated by DJs, producers, and music historians alike for its uncanny anticipation of electronic music movements that would emerge years later. This deluxe 2LP reissue features newly remastered audio by Johanz Westerman and has been produced in cooperation with Charanjit Singh's Estate. The release includes the original artwork in an expanded gatefold package alongside a 20-page booklet featuring rare photographs from the Singh family archive and new liner notes that explore the album's legacy and unlikely resurgence.
