Vintage 12” Brass Long-Handled Candle Snuffer Purchase in an antique store in the Netherlands. Classic vintage brass candle snuffer featuring a bell-shaped extinguisher with a wide flared rim and long angular handle. Measures approximately 12 inches in overall length. A beautiful functional accessory for a mantel, fireplace, candelabra or candle display, with an aged brass finish that has developed considerable character over time. The piece is unmarked, and the exact maker, country of manufacture and age are unknown. Vintage condition with visible age-related patina, oxidation, surface wear, scratches and areas of blue-green verdigris, particularly around the base of the bell and along portions of the handle. The interior of the bell is darkened from previous use. The aged finish has been left intact rather than heavily polished. Please review photographs closely for condition.
