nightshade ~ Original

Painted for my Dreamscapes exhibition in 2024, this piece has stayed in my personal collection ever since. It never had a distinct story or meaning attached to it, but for some reason it was always the work from that series I felt most connected to. Looking at it again after 2 years, through the lens of Portals, I can recognise so much of what I’ve continued to explore since… the shifting forms, imagined spaces, and that feeling of being somewhere between the familiar and somewhere else entirely. Bringing it into this exhibition feels almost like a small portal in itself; a piece of an earlier world finding its place within the one I’m creating now. Please note that all purchased artworks must be collected in person from the exhibition on 28 September 2026.
