Cornucopia - Kenya
A coffee fit for its season, Cornucopia comes to us from Nyeri County, Kenya produced by the Black River Cooperative there. The two rarities on this coffee have to do with the processing method. Firstly, it’s rare to experience a naturally processed Kenyan. Secondly, it’s extra rare to have one that has been fermented for 7 days before being set out to dry, compared to a typical 2-3 day fermentation window . What showcases in the cup is a spice forward, fruity profile that is balanced with notes of vanilla and raspberry.
