Beni Kikokuryu Koi 19cm Nisai – Oofuchi (EK7153) | Japanese Koi UK

Beni Kikokuryu Koi – 19cm Nisai from Oofuchi Meet EK7153, a distinctive 19cm Nisai Beni Kikokuryu bred by Oofuchi Koi Farm in Japan, available for just £95. Beni Kikokuryu are fascinating Japanese koi, combining the metallic appearance and dark patterning associated with Kikokuryu with vibrant red or orange-red beni. As a Doitsu variety, their reduced scale coverage creates a distinctive appearance, particularly along the dorsal line. EK7153 displays a vivid red-orange head, rich beni across the shoulders and body, and contrasting dark markings over a silvery metallic base. The prominent line of scales running along the back adds another attractive feature, while the pale pectoral fins provide contrast against the darker body pattern. At 19cm and Nisai, this is an interesting young Japanese koi for enthusiasts who enjoy unusual metallic varieties. Beni Kikokuryu are especially fascinating because their dark pigmentation and overall pattern may change as they mature and respond to seasonal conditions.
