The fruit develops its natural sweetness through the region's warm days and cool nights before being carefully handpicked at peak ripeness. Made exclusively from specially cultivated persimmons grown with organic fertilisers on the farm's own orchards, this additive-free delicacy is prepared without sulphur fumigation. Its soft, melting texture, gentle natural sweetness and concentrated fruit flavour offer a distinctive way to enjoy Japanese persimmons. With roots dating back to 1903, Horiuchi Fruit Farm is a sixth-generation fruit grower in the Yoshino region of Nara, dedicated to careful cultivation and preserving the natural taste of its fruit.
