It is not a high-voltage string tester. Does the PV48 measure solar irradiance?No. For sunlight intensity, panel temperature, direction and tilt, use the FLIR PV78. The PV48 is for electrical panel-performance measurements and I-V curves. Is a mains charger included?A USB cable and a built-in rechargeable battery are included. A USB mains charger is not listed in the supplied-equipment list.
