After importing, select the game with your controller and press Play – the correct emulator starts in the background. You don't have to search through folders or open different emulators every time. From box to game library 1 Connect and power on Connect Tinkerbox to your TV, network, and a compatible controller. The machine starts in the controller-driven Steam interface. 2 Add your games Log in to Steam and install compatible games. For emulation, add your own game files and necessary BIOS/system files into the ready-made folders, and import the games to Steam with EmuDeck. 3 Take a seat on the sofa Select a game in Steam with the controller and press Play. A large selection across generations Tinkerbox combines emulation of supported consoles with compatible PC games via Steam and Linux/Proton. The configured platforms range from retro classics to more demanding systems like PS3, Xbox 360, and Nintendo Switch. Resolution and frame rate Compatible games can be run at higher resolutions and with improvements compared to the original hardware. The result depends on the game, emulator, and settings. Games and system files Tinkerbox is supplied without commercial games, ROMs, and BIOS files. You add the content you have legal access to yourself. Software and emulators may require updates or game-specific adjustments. Upscaling, cheats, texture packs, and mods Give old favorites new life Higher internal resolution, upscaling, widescreen patches, and new textures can give classics a fresher look – in supported games, it can feel like a small remaster. Customize the gaming experience Use available cheats, mods, and community patches in compatible games. You can adjust graphics and controller layouts, try other emulators, or install new programs. Pre-configured, Steam, and the included guide We have done the groundwork Bazzite, drivers, selected emulators for supported platforms, default settings, and folder structure are all set up by TinkerMods. You don't need to build an emulation system from scratch. One library in Steam EmuDeck and Steam ROM Manager collect games from the installed emulators as individual shortcuts in Steam. After importing, you launch them directly from your library with your controller, alongside compatible PC games. The associated emulator opens automatically in the background. New games are imported as you add them; your daily gaming happens from the same library. Everything is explained step by step. A full PC desktop whenever you want Bazzite provides access to a full Linux desktop. Install programs, use a web browser, add other launchers, or customize the system further. Controllers and couch usage Use the controller you like Tinkerbox supports compatible USB and Bluetooth controllers, including DualSense and Xbox controllers. Special game features may require individual configuration or suitable accessories. Optional DualSense with TMR For an extra 549 NOK, you get a refurbished DualSense that has been cleaned, tested, and upgraded with TMR joysticks. Magnetic sensing reduces sensor wear and the risk of traditional stick drift. Also for Desktop Mode The custom DualSense integration lets you navigate, control the mouse cursor, and use the on-screen keyboard.
