From the Highlands of Scotland, Ardnamurchan AD/Paul Launois Release is an unpeated single malt finished in French oak Champagne casks from Paul Launois. Bottled at a robust 57.4% ABV, it brings together bourbon barrel maturation with elegant wine-cask influence for a distinctive Highland expression. The nose opens with tangy orange icing, rum-raisin ice cream, salted caramel and lemon curd, while the palate layers macadamia nut, peach, crème de cacao, vanilla and gentle spice. Rich yet lively, it is best enjoyed neat to appreciate its full character, or with a few drops of water to soften the cask strength.
