Ventura Oval Extending Table

Gloster Ventura Oval Extending Table is the dining centerpiece of the Ventura collection, a natural finish teak frame with a slatted top that grows from 84 1/2 inches to 114 inches long. The table is 38 1/2 inches wide and 28 1/2 inches high, weighs 110 pounds and seats between 8 and 12 depending on the setting. Some assembly is needed once it arrives. The extension leaves are self-storing on an elevator mechanism, so they rise into place from beneath the top rather than being carried out from a closet, and the table changes length in minutes with no extra parts to lose. A parasol hole through the center accepts an umbrella pole. The slatted top sheds rainwater, and Gloster offers a protective cover sized for the Ventura Oval Extending Table in its un-extended position. The oval outline suits a long garden terrace where a rectangular table would feel rigid, and it seats an odd number of guests more gracefully. For a family home in Coral Gables that hosts Sunday lunch for twelve, the Ventura Oval Extending Table spends most of the week at its shorter length and opens only when the cousins arrive. Available at Decor House Furniture, authorized Gloster dealer in Miami, with white-glove delivery across the USA.
