For best results, protect early: apply in late spring, before you see damage, and water in with about 6 mm of irrigation straight away. For caterpillars (armyworm, cutworm, sod webworm), delay watering and mowing for 24 hours instead, so the product stays on the leaf where they feed. Don’t apply to waterlogged soil, and wear gloves if spreading by hand.
