Butterfly Wall Clock
A round wall clock with a real Orange-barred Sulphur butterfly (Phoebis philea) riding on the clock hand, so it travels around the dial as time goes by. Bright yellow wings with orange patches, right in the middle of the clock face. This clock is my own idea from our small workshop in Central Europe. Every butterfly is a farmed male Phoebis philea, carefully prepared and set by hand. There is no glass on the front, so the butterfly has room to move and you see it without glare or reflections. Just keep it out of direct sunlight and away from steam. On the Taupe clock the butterfly sits on the second hand and makes a full circle every minute. Sage Green and White & Wood have no second hand, so the butterfly rides on the minute hand and takes a whole hour to go around. A great gift for nature lovers, gardeners, biology teachers, or anyone who likes something a bit different on their walls.
