Bergamot & Bay Aftershave Splash for Wholesale

Those who knew me before Ariana & Evans know I was every bit as passionate about wet shaving as many of you are today. One of my absolute favorite artisans was Cold River Soap Works. Larry’s soap base was wonderfully different—rich, creamy and with an incredible post-shave feel. It was a game changer for me. Of all his soaps, Bergamot & Bay was the one that really got me. There was just something special about that scent, and it quickly became one of my all-time favorites. Larry and I used to communicate back in the day, but we lost touch over the years. Recently, I went through some of our old correspondence and, amazingly, found his phone number. I had been thinking about reimagining Bergamot & Bay as a tribute to CRSW, but there was no way I was going to do it without Larry’s blessing. After some encouragement from my daughter Thalia, I finally called. Larry was surprised to hear from me, but incredibly gracious. I explained what I wanted to do and told him I wouldn’t move forward unless he was comfortable with it. He couldn’t quite understand why I wanted to do this. But I think some of you will. To me, CRSW was a rock star. When I began making shaving soap, Larry’s work was one of my biggest inspirations. In fact, my very first soap I created, included tallow, goats milk, lanolin, kokum butter and shea in large part because of the influence his soap had on me. So this one is personal. With Larry’s blessing, I’m incredibly honored to bring you Bergamot & Bay, reimagined in our Ultima 2 formulation and in this aftershave splash.. Notes: Bergamot, bay leaf, tobacco, cedarwood, and fresh pine. Ingredients: Aloe Vera Juice, SD 40B Alcohol, Rose Hydrosol, Vegetable Glycerin, Emu Oil, Calendula Extract , Red Clover Extract, Chamomile, Plantain Leaves, White Willow Bark, Vitamin E, Hyaluronic Acid, Caprylic Triglycerides ( combination of plant sugars and fatty acids derived from palm and coconut oils for silkier feel and as a natural preservative).
