Stranded Colorwork 101 with Isabel

Join Isabel to learn the fundamentals of stranded colorwork while knitting the beautiful Eloise Bandana by Katryn Seeburger. This adorable project is the perfect introduction to knitting with two colors and creating unique motifs in your knits. In this class students will learn how to: Knit stranded colorwork patterns flat Manage two yarns comfortably without tangling Read and follow colorwork charts Catch floats to create a structured and wearable knit Knit gradual increases with M1L and M1R Knit an i-cord edge Finish their work with an i-cord bindoff Students will leave the class with all of the skills you need to knit the Eloise Bandana, including a helpful video to support students in finishing their scarf. Skill Level: Intermediate Intermediate level classes are suited for makers who have taken 2-3 Advanced Beginner classes in their craft, and/or have made several projects on their own, and are feeling independent in their skills. Some classes may include pre-class prep to be completed on your own. Sewing students must be comfortable threading their machines, following a seam allowance, changing presser feet, and troubleshooting minor machine issues. Learn more about our Class Levels here.
