Antique Chainmail Coin Purse for Chatelaine

Lovely antique coin purse to hang from your chatelaine at your waistband (if you want to be historically accurate), wear on a chain or ribbon, or just keep in your bag to hold tiny treasures. Made anywhere between the mid-to-late 1800s and the early 1900s (pre WWI). Materials: base metal with genuine silver plating Condition: Very good! Chainmail in mostly excellent shape, closes securely, jump ring intact. Dimensions: about 2"/5cm wide across the frame, and 3"/xxcm total height. As you can see in the photos showing it stuffed with tissue paper, it's small, but expands easily. ☞ Our items are not newly manufactured "vintage style" pieces.
