Cambridge Shine Night Walk

THE EVENT: Cambridge Shine Night Walk A night-time walk to beat cancer. The Cambridge Shine Night Walk is a chance to light up our city’s streets. Walkers will stroll or run past Cambridge’s most iconic landmarks before ending with a finish line celebration courtesey of US! People of all abilities take part and the 10k walk which takes between 1.5 to 3 hours to complete. N.B. To any Ely, Histon or St Ives members that would like to come and join us – just come along and join in with the songs you know. It’s a very fun, informal night so you can easily be part of it without feeling too self conscious during the songs you’re less familiar with! No leggings please. If you don’t then a white, navy or teal top of any kind is okay. White shirts are also fine! These can be in dark navy denim, plain navy or white. No black bottoms please. FOOTWEAR: Please wear plain navy shoes. Navy, white or silver trainers are also welcomed with matching plain socks. Feel free to wear sparkly trainers. Think comfortable chic! JEWELLERY & EXTRAS: Silver jewellery preferred — sparkle if you like! This is an outdoor event without any holding or backstage area so please only bring what you can carry on your person. A bum bag or across the body bag is recommended. And as this is a SHINE NIGHT WALK please feel free to pimp up your uniform with light up items. Deely boppers, glow in the dark items. Anything that will bring a sense of party!
