Sesame Seed with Kimchi | 50g

Terre Exotique’s Sesame Seed with Kimchi are roasted sesame seeds seasoned in the style of kimchi, Korea’s fermented vegetable dish, in a 50g tin. The seeds bring crunch and a warm, lightly spicy flavour that is both savoury and slightly sweet. Soy sauce and bonito extract add depth, and the finish is of roasted nuts and garlic. The seeds come from Terre Exotique, the French spice house founded by Erwann de Kerros, a traveller from Brittany. The company works directly with growers and packs its blends in metal tins or glass jars, which keep out light and protect the aroma between uses. Sprinkle them over poultry, noodles, rice dishes or grilled fish, or use them as a crust before cooking.
