EC074: Echinocereus x 'Copper's Babies' COLD HARDY CACTUS
It took a bit of arm-wrenching, but my dear friend Jeff Thompson finally let go of some of the seedlings from his decades-long efforts hybridizing 'Copper'. This gorgeous mojavensis inermis crossed with various other viridiflorus types has been long sought after. These offspring have various types and lengths of spines, and many different flower shapes and colors. The flowers form along the bottom and sides of the stems rather than on the crown. Order several plants to get a variety of flower colors. Hardy to zone 5. 6-8" high x 8-10" wide. Sold in 2.5-inch pots.
