SOULY GRAIL 2027
Precision Turns, On and Off-Piste Super Versatile Cranky Carves Surfs Pow And Piste The Ultimate Turning Experience The Souly Grail enters 26/27 sharper, smoother, and more responsive than ever. With our next-gen Antiphase damping and a refined core profile, the board delivers an almost surreal sense of calm as you slice through rough snow and high-G carves. The weight-saving Hollow Tech honeycomb amplifies agility, while the Zero 90 Carbon layup blends torsional authority with a fluid, surf-like flex pattern. A cranked sidecut, 3D-sculpted nose, and wingered swallowtail come together to create a ride that feels intuitive and precise across groomers, steeps, or untouched powder. For riders obsessed with the art of turning, the Souly Grail stands as the pinnacle — a precision instrument built to push your carving addiction into the stratosphere. Shape Tapered Directional With a setback stance, longer nose, and narrower tail, this shape is built for freeride domination. Tapered Directional boards offer superior float, smoother turns, and added stability at speed, making them the go-to for big mountain missions. Camber Cruise Camber A half-fat camber for all-mountain dominance. Cruise Camber’s toned-down dimensions deliver a precise and lively feel, much like Pop Camber, but with much improved deep snow performance and a more “broken-in” feel out of the shrink-wrap. In Amplid’s directional snowboards a touch of early rise is added to Cruise Camber to improve buoyancy even further. 3D Crust Buster Nose Bite through Crust with ease! This subtly convex nose makes edge-to-edge transitions smoother and more predictable, especially in crusty or inconsistent snow. By keeping the contact points engaged, it maintains precise responsiveness where you need it most. Wingered Swallowtail Where physics meets surf aesthetics. The wingered swallowtail reduces the surface area behind your back foot, helping the tail sink in powder so the nose rises naturally—giving you effortless float and a surf-like ride. The wingers, however, maintain effective edge behind your rear foot, so you still get solid grip and control when carving. View Specs Rider's weight refers to net body weight. For full gear including clothing and boots, add ~6 kg. For a full backcountry setup, including backpack, shovel, probe, and water, add an additional 3–5 kg. size 153 157 162 overall length (mm) 1530 1570 1620 nose length (mm) 245 245 245 effective edge (mm) 1100 1140 1190 running length (mm) 1050 1090 1140 tail length (mm) 185 185 185 waist width (mm) 252 256 260 underfoot width front (mm) 268 271 274 underfoot width back (mm) 263 267 271 nose width (mm) 298 302 306 tail width (mm) 292 296 300 sidecut depth (mm) 21 21 21.5 sidecut radius (m) 7.8 7.9 8.2 stance position 15 back 15 back 15 back nose radius (mm) 700 700 700 tail radius (mm) 700 700 700 ref stance (cm) 54 (50-58) 56 (52-60) 57 (53-61) camber Dir. To retain responsiveness, the contact points are not lifted. All Terrain Tips A smooth kick radius and fuller tip outline improves deep snow floatation without adding swing weight. Antiphase An advanced composite damping technology, developed in house at Amplid, which reduces unwanted vibrations for a smoother more controlled ride. Basalt Suspension Strips Running along the topsheet in a V-configuration from the contact points towards the bindings, these narrow bands of Basalt fabric dampen unwanted vibrations, reducing rider fatigue and keeping you edge engaged with the snow for improved control. Get the Rolls Royce feeling! Bezièr Curves We replace standard radii with Beziér curves in our sidecut and nose design, allowing us to precisely calculate the core’s flex curve for the most harmonious ride imaginable. Carbon Pop Band A narrow band of uni-directional carbon stringers that run through the centreline of a snowboard from tip-to-tail (or until the contact points to avoid interference with dampening systems) increasing pop and extending flex memory without altering torsional stiffness. Hollow Tech Amplid’s Hollow Tech, inspired by learnings from the Hollow Project, uses resin-proof profiled honeycomb inserts to solve weight and performance challenges. This innovation reduces weight while maintaining strength and flexibility, delivering superlight boards and ultraquiet tips and tails. Impact Pads In the top laminate we have added multidirectional glass pads in the binding area, to avoid dings caused by the pointy corners of binding bases. These pads enhance durability while only adding minimal weight. Lite Core Uber light wood varieties are cut, treated and aligned in a way only our factory knows. Its strength to weight ratio has scientists baffled. Sintered Base Amplid’s ultra-high density sintered base goes like shit-off-a-shovel in all snow conditions. It is extremely hard and therefore more resistant to damage. Shred ready Boards come factory-tuned with two Scotch wax runs and a 90°/0° edge setup, leaving all options open for customizing your own edge angles. Zero 90 Carbon Amplid’s Zero 90 Carbon layup addresses a critical blind spot: 90° flex. By integrating carbon rovings along this axis across the entire board, it enhances edge control and power transfer while reducing weight. The result? Precision, stability, and unmatched performance.
