Andre Sofa by Nicholas Obeid

Andre Sofa is a faceted, fully upholstered sofa by Studio Nicholas Obeid, made to order in your own fabric at 111" wide with a 29" seat depth. The silhouette is sculptural rather than soft: a faceted face, chamfered back corners, and upholstery carried all the way to the floor so the frame never shows. A tight seat holds the line; a single loose back cushion keeps it usable. Shown here in Zak+Fox Mosu. At nine feet two inches it is a room-anchoring piece, and because it is made to order in COM or COL, the fabric does most of the deciding — the same form reads architectural in a flat weave and considerably softer in a bouclé.
